Hot Yoga
In this invigorating class, the room is heated to
allow for the body to move deeper into postures, without the
possibility of injury. It is designed from the many postures from the
hot yoga lineage in Calcutta, India developed by Bishnu Ghosh. In
this class, postures are done in a
systematic way (particular sequencing will depend on your teacher and
students in the class). Your muscles will be
stretched and contracted to improve circulation to the joints and body.
This series of postures works against gravity to strengthen the bones.
You will work every muscle, bone, system, and cell of the body
BONES TO SKIN! A total body workout that is great for the
beginner, intermediate and
advanced practitioner. You do not have to be physically fit to come to this class.
Hot 26
This class was originally developed by Bikram Choudhury, however
in this class there is different attention placed on alignment and energy. Similar to the Hot
Yoga class, it is done in a heated room. It is 26 postures
from the hot yoga tradition, done twice each with 2 breathing
exercises. This is a great class for learning some of the
essential hot yoga postures in finer detail. You will work hard
and sweat with the guidance of an amazing teacher. This
class is appropriate for the raw beginner to the advanced student of
yoga. You do not have to be physically fit to come to this class.
Vinyasa
A "Flow Style" of yoga that incorporates the postures from the hot yoga
class as well as others from different yoga lineages. This class is
also heated. It flows
from one posture to another in a harmonious manner that creates a
meditation in motion. This is a
vigorous class that is also beginner friendly. It combines upper body
strength, flexibility and a cardio challenge that is fun and rewarding.
You do not have to be physically fit to come to this class.
Gentle
This class draws from different yoga postures, and puts them in a
gentle sequence. The beginner can learn how to breathe and move their
body, while the experienced practitioner can refine their movements.
This class is open to all students. You do not have to be physically fit to come to this class.
Level 1 Iyengar
This class is very focused on precise body alignment. Based in the teachings of B.K.S. Iyengar, It is yoga taught with highly verbal instructions. Errors are actively corrected so that students can find the correct form for their body in each pose. Props such as belts, blocks and blankets are used in the class to help people adjust into proper alignment in poses. This style helps to prevent any pain or injury in the poses. In this class you will build strong legs and increase vitality. The class moves slowly and this helps to bring more awareness. It takes time to move into a pose and to become stable. This class will help your practice to change and expand. Take this class to bring a positive effect to your nervous system.
Focus Flow
This class is based in the teachings of Dharma Mittra. It involves a significant amount of pranayama (breathing techniques), as well as yoga postures. The class flows nicely and will help you to build strength, focus and inner peace. Come and enjoy this evening class and walk out feeling like you are walking on air!
Shine Flow
This is an hour long, early morning class that moves in a melodious flowing manner. Based in the teachings of Dharma Mittra, it is a style that will help to open up the body and wake the central nervous system. It is done in a warm room to music. The class will leave you feeling awake, centered and ready for a beautiful day.
Dharma

Hot Yoga Flow
This class
is very similar to our hot yoga class, but moves along in a
more flowing manner. The class leaves room for more spontaneity. Come and allow your intuitive and intellegent body take you to
higher levels in your yoga practice. Beginners Welcome!! You do not have to be physically fit to come to this class.
Baptiste Inspired
Baptiste is a physical practice of yoga. It combines a physical and spiritual path of endless possibilities. It is a vinyasa flow that requires breath (prana) and movement (asana) to physically inquire feeling. It promotes freedom and expansion on and off the mat. The practice encourages authenticity and empowerment. Who not? Give up what you must and arrive!
