ANN HEALY-BLUMENSTOCK
Ann began teaching Bikram Yoga in 2002, after attending Bikram’s 9 week
intensive teacher training in Los Angeles. Since then she has been a
dedicated practitioner and teacher of Hot Yoga. After finishing her
Master of Arts in Teaching, Ann owned and managed
Jersey Shore Hot Yoga of Rumson from 2004 until 2007. During that
time,
she attended James Barkan’s Level II teacher training in Ft.
Lauderdale, FL, where her teaching and practice were transformed.
Ann moved the studio to Avon in Fall of 2007. Ann
continues to grow as a practioner and
teacher of yoga.
Ann has worked with all levels of students... from people with serious
injurys and ailments, to professional ahtletes and dancers. Ann has the
experience to work with each student, to bring him or her to thier
optimal expression in postures. Yoga has changed her life,
and it is her joy to share this life changing process with others.
Ann
earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Evergreen State College in
Olympia, Washington, and a Masters of Teaching Degree from Monmouth
University in Long Branch, NJ. Ann's latest yoga training and
certification was in October 2008 at Jimmy Barkan's level III Teacher
Training in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
ANNMARIE RUNG
AnnMarie
completed a 12 week-long Bikram Yoga intensive teacher training, in November of 1998. The training
consisted of more than 500 hours of study with Bikram and Rajashree
Choudhury. For several years she had attended and/or assisted in yearly seminars with Bikram and Rajashree, to continue her education in the unique therapeutic method of Hatha Yoga, rooted in the tradition of Bishnu Ghosh ad Paramahansa Yogananda. Since 1998, AnnMarie has taught at the following studios: Yoga Connection, Tribeca, Bikram Yoga NYC, Bikram Yoga Colts Neck, Bikram Yoga of Rumson, Jersey Shore Hot Yoga, The Atlantic Club and Bikram Yoga Westwood/North Haledon.
In 2007, AnnMarie studied wit Swami Shantimurti Saraswati and was certified in Yoga NIdra, Meditaion and Pranayama techniques, rooted in the tradition of Paramahansa Satyananda. Through continued study her teaching style has evolved to integrate yoga with other healing philosophies. She is grateful to her teachers for all she has learned. Her faith in the science of yoga, and the desire to help others help themselves are what inspire her to find additional ways to bring this life-changing, mind-body connection to others.
AnnMarie
earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Marist College in
1990. She lives with her husband and two children in Middletown,
NJ.
DANIEL ABBOTT
Daniel
is a nationally certified Personal Trainer and a Yoga Alliance
certified Yoga Instructor. Currently he is finishing his 500 hour
certification with Yoga Alliance. His path resembles that of the
Jnana orientation and he has created a synthesized dynamic style
called Amita Yoga. With vast experience teaching all levels
of yoga, from teens to seniors, he is not only dedicated to serving all
with Yoga and Pysical Fitness, but also to continuing his own
education. Daniel offers workshops in couples and partner yoga,
as well as The Work of Byron Katie. Daniel graduated from
Rutgers University in 2003 with a Bachelors degree in Organizational
Communication, and has returned to Rutgers part time to study High
level Mathematics. Daniel teaches a vinyasa class and offers
workshops at Jersey Shore Hot Yoga. Find out more about Daniel by

ROSE GOLDBERG Rose began her spiritual journey 16 years ago as a student of
yoga, and became Yoga Alliance certified teacher 6 years ago under the
guidance of Wendy Gross, RYT, at the Yoga and Healing Center in Scotch
Plains, NJ. Rose has continued her training at the annual Omega
Yoga Conferences in NYC, where she was honored to study with
Rodney Yee and Shiva Rea. She has attended Jimmy Barkan's level
II training in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and most recently did Baron
Baptiste's teacher training. Rose's class provides a warm, safe,
soothing environment that is calming to the mind and body. Her
students often comment that they take the lessons learned on the yoga
mat into thier everyday situations to help create balance and harmony
in their lives.
