ANN HEALY

Ann has been teaching yoga for over 10 years. Her journey into mind/body connection began in college where she studied martial arts, specifically Tai Chi. During this time she was studying different sects of Buddhism, and connected with the "middle path" that the Buddha took. She was then led to the study and practice of Yoga. She began teaching Bikram Yoga in 2002, after attending Bikram’s 9 week intensive teacher training in Los Angeles. Since then she has been a dedicated practitioner and teacher of Yoga.
Ann owned and managed Jersey Shore Hot Yoga of Rumson from 2004 until 2007. During that time, she attended Jimmy Barkan’s Level II teacher training in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Ann moved her studio to Avon in Fall of 2007. Ann continues to grow as a practioner and teacher of yoga, with the help of the positive energy that has been created in the community of students and incredible teachers at Jersey Shore Hot Yoga. Ann has worked with all levels of students... from people with serious injurys and ailments, to professional ahtletes and dancers. Ann has the experience to work with each student, to bring him or her to thier optimal expression in yoga postures. Most importantly, Ann helps all of her students relieve the stresses of daily life, and guides them to invite peace, acceptance, and love into their lives. Yoga has changed her life, and it is her joy to share this life changing process with others.
Ann earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington, and a Masters of Teaching Degree from Monmouth University in Long Branch, NJ. Ann's latest yoga trainings and certifications were in October 2008 at Jimmy Barkan's level III Teacher Training in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and Level IV training in 2010 with Jimmy in Pura Vida Costa Rica. Ann dedicates much of her time to continue her healing and transformation by practicing with her incredible local body and energy work therapists (Brett Lehr Thai Bodywork, Cindy Wesley massage and energy work therapist, and Jessica Farrell Energy Healer). Ann continues her education in Yoga by reading, and traveling to attend different yoga classes, workshops and seminars. It is her goal to keep her classes fresh and inspired.

Chris Cordasco

I left the corporate world in 2010 to pursue a less conventional but more gratifying career in yoga. With over ten years experience of practicing, attending workshops and advance trainings, I traveled to Florida in the summer of 2010 to attend Jimmy Barkan's Hot Yoga teacher training and achieved RYT 200 Hour certification. Armed with this mighty piece of paper and a love for yoga, with it's amazing physical, mental and spiritual benefits, I embarked on a full time career teaching at various locations through out NJ and privately.

The question often arises of "what kind of yoga do you teach"? There are so many different styles and all are amazing in their own way. Each class of mine is somewhat different, but at the same time familiar. At it's core, it's a hot Vinyasa flow, with a focus on proper alignment and breathing while building strength and flexibility. So don't worry, you'll be able to keep up as the class is geared for the beginner to the advanced practitioner alike. By the end, your monkey mind will likely be tamed and you will be left with a sense of peace, well being and probably quite sweaty. For further information please visit christophercordasco.com.

Thea Daley
Thea has been practicing yoga for 10 years. In her quest for knowledge and as a vehicle to improve her personal practice, she found herself drawn to the endless refinements of the Iyengar method.
As a student and teacher the deeper she dug the more she realized that the surface had hardly been scratched and found herself truly enjoying the endless learning and discovery it brought. She has been following and studying Iyengar yoga intensely for the last 7 years .
After completing the teacher training program at the Iyengar Yoga Institute of New York led by senior teachers James Murphy and Mary Dunn. She was awarded certification in the Iyengar method as a Intro One Teacher.
Currently Thea is continuing her studies in New York and also working with world renowned Iyengar teacher Patricia Walden in Boston to further her qualification as a teacher and yogi .She is completing an additional two year teaching program finishing in June.
Her passion is simply to guide students towards a better understanding of this method and then to observe the students and teach according to what their practice requires. Keeping it simple... Thea believes interest is the most important thing a student can bring to yoga.
